    As its Friday - A bit of culture

    While in Corfu on vacation they was this chap in the street floggin paintings.

    Now I dont real buy into this whole art thing but these were some waht different.

    The site does not to them justice as figures are raised off the canvas, non the less they are pretty cool.

      While I was travelling around Thailand many years ago my girlfriend and I drove into this little dead out in the boonies village. It had only one building of any note and inside were all these thai guys painting pictures that you see for sale in places like Venice Beach to the Vatican. Every subject from abstract to classical, they were just copying them from photos.

      They were selling them for $3 each and thought the were getting a good deal.
