For everyday snacking: pepperjack on top of a vegetable flavored triscut. Not gourmet by any means, but it's damn tasty! Oh, and a good sharp cheddar works too.
For eating with one pinky raised, brie on a melba toast wafer. A great combination! And for salads, a decent blue cheese dressing with LOTS of fresh blue cheese crumbled on top. I hated blue cheese dressing until I had it with crumbled blue cheese... now it's my favorite dressing as long as it has the real cheese on top. |

This thread is making me hungry, I LOVE cheese A LOT. I can't wait to try crumbled blue cheese on salad, and brie on crackers! I am so freakin hungry and I have no damn cheese in the house! It's 3 am so it's too late for me to go buy some cheese right now. I want some cheese so bad :(
I'm going to try some new cheeses next time I go shopping since I usually only eat Brie and Swiss, and American cheese. But some of the stuff you guys mentioned are too exotic/gourmet, I just buy whatevers at the grocery store. |
Swiss cheese. And it has to have holes in it :thumbsup
I love all cheeses... great stuff :) |
