I love seeing ads from boards however I probably would just go to any of the other great boards if one started forcing me to interact with them constantly to be able to read the newest posts.

I just tried taking a screenshot of my mouse pointer over it illustrating it remains a 'pointer' and NOT the little 'hand' that shows up when you mouse over a link.

But im guessing im just cursed by god and thats why this is happeneing.

when the annoying fash ad runs across my screen even though I have a pop up blocker.. I can't close it, only way I can do anything is to close the browser and revisit the page. May not happen for everyone but it happens to me..

1) I choose to have a pop up blocker because I choose not to see pop ups. This ad forces me to view the pop up which is annoying

2) I can't close the pop up, without closeing the browser. Makes me think you are trying to force me to click to vist your page.. agin extreemly annoying.


1+2= 3) annoyed webmaster that dosn't want to vist the webpage.

and it's not a popup. it's a flash overlay. it's a huge difference. if you dont want to see ads at all you should just block all images and flash.

flash overlay is much better. i thought you had just placed an annoying ad in front of the page I wanted to look at...

Among other thing when you close a flash overlay it stalls out all the gif animations on the page :)

Looks nice though.

agreed I so understand now and would like 4 or 5 more "Flash Overlays" that I can't close on every page I visit, now that I know they arn't pop-ups..
