I did this in one of my computer science courses. The first class the prof wouldn't tell us how to solve it. A lot of us went nuts trying to figure it out and finally he told us how to solve it by hand, then write a computer program to do it. I don't wanna give away the answer but the clue they give is very accurate, "Petals Around the Rose" is the title :D
