aunt who always tried to pawn off her own kids broken shit as gifts to me, one I remember most is a broken microscope - BUT the wooden box was great and it became my weed storage unit.

also I have an aunt who gave the same gift to me and my sisters for 20 years, a subscription to National Geographic. None of us ever looked at it, only person who occassionally read it was my dad when he ran out of reading materials in the bathroom.
