You can sue anyone you want. The lesson is don't go with a hosting company that is not serious about the Adult business.

I think most hosting companies have the obligatory disclaimer of not being liable for loss from any down time..

Here's a great hosting company. The guy is small, and very good at what he does. He has a 200 MB line with Verio. He's been doing adult biz for years. Very personal, very attentive, and very attractive pricing. He really knows his machines. Feel free to call him at this number.

I host with him, and I've been with him now for 2 years...np!

Thanks,
Ed

move on, consider it a lesson learned.
If you want to make it in this or any other biz you will always loose a few bucks on the way, and hosts too.

Trial and error sometimes...

It's always best to find an adult host, that is serious about hosting, most of the time they are a tad bit more expensive but they don't pull this shit on you. Always do a little research before laying down some cash on hosting. Make sure you're gona get what you pay for or things like this happen.

you could sue them but you will probably find in the terms you accepted that in this situation you dont have a leg to stand

Yes, you can sue a hosting company, and be successful in your suit. We did that about 4 years ago (settled out of court).

Of course, it depends on how much you lost, and most importantly, can you prove how much you lost?
