its just unbeleivable to see the difference in both money, and clicks.

My last listing on the hun I got 118,400 uniques and didn't get any sales. I'm thinking it's because I used a recurring sponsor that doesn't offer trials.

yes i know, this happens with all mail sponsors for 2 basic reasons.

- your email db is empty compared to a big free mail sponsor program. Millions of emails have already registered in their db, less chances for signups.

- you count emails from all countries, while email sponsors exclude the unproductive ones.

yeah, but you don't get any recurring money from that one.

I used a recurring sponsor as well on my last listing with no trial and it did pretty good. I don't like trials, surfers tend to cancel right away on them and leech as much as they can. :(

i used a recurring last time also and ended up with close to 20 sales one of which was a 3month... however the retention of all the single month sales were shit off hun traffic, normal retention at least 3months for the particular sponsor 90% of the hun sales gone after 1.

I usually get my listing on the Hun without any problem, usually around the middle. I average about 120k hits and about 7 sign ups the 1st day. I havent tried buying a top spot yet :)

well maybe I just had bad luck that time. he approved another one the other day with the same sponsor so maybe it will do better.

all i can say about the $500 cost per top spot is that it's backed up for over 6 months - might even be a year now........

even the 2-5 spots are backed up MANY MANY months....
