I've seen it done, and it does work. But I think that most blog owners are aware of it by now and delete spam regularly. Usually google doesn't even have the time to cache your link before its taken down. How many can you submit to per hour anyway?

Quite a bit, my friend... quite a bit. All unique too and targetted to the blog's content and discussion. Nothing similar or bot driven. Bots are what kills this industry. No thinking, no discrimination re content/context.

When I used to call customer service at AOL I think they even outsourced their call center to India. I swear, everyone I spoke to had an indian accent.
