    I drove an sl55, very nice ride. This is supposed to have the same powertrain, but be a luxury 4 door. Seen a few, but would love to drive one.

      aparently it kills on 0-60 and other accellearatins... but it blows on turning... so it got bad reviews by drivers... but they are used to ferraris... hard to compare a luxury car that weighs 2 times as much but goes just as fast or faster... its a flying tank... I can imagine its difficult to turn at 160 but who does that ever anyway?

              I have drove the 2001 a few times awesome car the 2003/2004 has about 100 hp more if im correct it handles incredibly I took it up to 130 on william lehman causway in aventura which is a small stretch of road with 2 nice curves and it didnt seem to want to come unglued from the road

                  The new Benz has only 70 more horsepower than the 2001


                  I drove the 2001 in Germany at 285 Km H (177 Mph ) Excellent handling and amazing ride.

                                      The new E class is designed very well to be great at handling and ride comfort. It does get a bit heavy in high speed turns, but so do most 4 door cars. I was impressed with the E500 that I drove, but it still didnt compare to the feel of a 540i in sportiness.

                                      If your looking for the pure "i have the fastest car" factor, dont bother, the new M5 with the V10 will spank it in about a year or less.

                                          AMG E55, drove one to 12.4 @ 116 bone stock with 2k on the odometer.

                                          Nice car, and with the Renntech upgrades should be a nice high 11-second car, which kicks ass and takes names.

                                          Not bad for a luxury sedan.
