    Does anyone have a link to a windows app that can take images or files in a directory and rename them based on set perameters?

                          Flash Renamer 4.6 can do anything you want pretty much, including folders too.

                                  I need to rename a shitload of directories and files in different formats so I went to GFY and found this old thread.

                                  Don´t know how I have ever been able to live without this piece of software.
