Have not celebrated our Birthday since 1996

I was wondering if any former Jar Heads were in the So Cal area and wanted to toast on 10 November

I do believe I'll be rather busy during the Lightspeed Adventure Weekend around the 10th...... But I'll be sure to raise a glass or two to the event.

Here's a snapshot of RocHARD in the Marines:

When were you eith FAST????

WeThey would train with us quite a bit....I served under Col. Zinzer he was Co of MCSF Lant

I had to stay at the Barracks at FAST for like a month before i went down to Pananma.

I went to Gunslinger school over there at Dam-Nec...I wanted orders to FAST but was rewarded with Panama instead...we used very similar training schedules. We did much Fast roping and river ops from the canal....it was definately not Barracks Duty...in fact they were petitioning to have it changed to GDF like Gitmo

7th Cav is a great unit....We cross trained extensively with C Co 3/7 special forces and 5/87th inf "jungle cats" over at JOTC on Fort Davis

So they finally took him in eh?
Thats excellent, if you talk to him, tell him I said hello
and good luck to him. Also, tell him to put his ass in

Everyone in A co 2/20th SFG went to Ranger School for fun. Later on in 1995, I went back and assisted 5th RTB at Mountain Phase in Dahlonega when we SF guys didn't have anything else to do that summer.

Anyone else around here a Green Beret?
