Why do you smoke pot?

I used to smoke a little when I was writing music, but I don't now coz it slows me down. I think when you're high you think you're coming up with incredible ideas, then when you look back at them when you're straight, you see how they suck.

Most people who smoke on a regular basis get slower in whatever it is they do. Not to mention all of the cash they blow on it. And like most people say, the ideas you get are pretty shitty when you aren't stoned.

It's good as stress relief every now and then I guess, but on a regular basis regardless of what people think or say, it screws with you.

i dont smoke tons of weed no more, couple years straight of smoking weed all day left me lazy at the time, i will stick to drinking. hopefully my trusty liver will keep up for the marathon because we are not nearly done.

Haven't smoked for about 6 months since I got arrested. I always found it alot easier to get work done while stoned, especially coding. My mind is usually on a million different tracks, I'm coding one thing and thinking about another algo or picturing the design in my head or something and it slows me down. I would always plan something ahead of time and smoke a few bowls and it'd be finished in no time if I just went through my list and focused on one part at a time.

They've been studying it with good success as a treatment for ADD. I guess it has the same effect on alot of people.

The only real downside to it is that it'll get you arrested, like it did to me. It doesn't permanently damage your brain contrary to popular belief and the only way you'll be a burnout is if you smoke every day. Even then if you take a week off after that you'll be back to normal.

So, some drunk mess on oxycontin is better off? Personally, weed has done the opposite for me. it helps me focus and i am much more creative when i smoke a little.

I understand everyone's body chemistry is different though and I do know people who cant function while stoned. On the other hand, I know some people in this biz who do coke and they claim it has benefits... I cannot stand cocaine and when I have tried it I feel like I am going to freaking die. I think it gave me a cold afterwords also, no fun. All in all, I think marijuana is one of the safer drugs out there (including alcohol and meds) so im going to stick with it for now.

You cant get arrested in CA for weed unless your growing or have over 1 ounce on you. Anything under an ounce is a $90 ticket and you can wipe it off your record in exchange for 8 of your precious saturday hours.

In a school zone(doesn't matter that it was like 10PM). So far I've gone to 2 PIP meetings and they won't let me get less than 3 years. I have the best defense attorney in NJ though so I'll probably get off with probation at the jury trial.

I don't even hardly drink anymore.
