grabbing images from wmv

ok this may sound retarded cause i work on video and i usually dont have this problem BUT i am trying to grab screen images from wmv clips and none of my software programs are doing the job. im on xp pro so if anyone has a link to free software, could you post it here pls.

if even tried alt print screen and i guess its just the way its encoded (compressed)....nothing will work.

Open the file in windows media player and go to tools > options > performance and turn video acceleration all the way down to none. Then you can print screen and paste into an image editor.

or drag your vid into vegas video and go to the spot you want to take pic from and click the "camera" button and it will save it to your desktop as a jpg.

If you have Adobe Premiere. Put the video on the timeline....move the slider to a frame that you want to cap.....go to "File - Export Timeline - Frame"
