Everytime I get a 404 error it dumps me to some fucking search engine. I have deleted the cache, objects, adware and everything else I can think of...how to I make just display a freakin error

did you try the reset all settings to defualt?
if so maybe have a look around in c:\windows tipically these crappy little programs dump something in there... btw is your ad aware up to date? make sure it has the newest updatesIn November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator. -
try this
start>run>regedit.
that will put you in the registry
then
Hkey>local machine>software>
then try to find the program that is doing this shit
and delete
also run find and put in the program name to loook on your hard drive for it and delete what you find
