I have dealt with both before for lots of things. A venture capitalist really is not much different that a private investor.
Yes it is a contradiction, almost everything in biz is though. The money is nice and it really can help get things started. They can become a pain though. From wanting to move from silent investors to very vocal ones, cutting off funds with no notice, to getting rid of them when they are no longer needed. |
