You should do it the other way around. After flying jets, those old planes seem kinda sluggish. I always end up planting a couple in the ground because I don't pull up soon enough. I'll be there for both games though.

I wish mine didn't crash to desktop everytime I try to play it. Happened after I installed winxp (was on 98 before)

You guys that are crashing to the desktop, you didn't download the new nvidia drivers did ya? Nvidia says they have a fix and will release it in a day or two.

well provided your using a nvidia card

yea there are some new drivers out for nivida cards.

also make sure you have the latest direct x version.. do a windows update and see if there are any directx updates..

xp shouldnt cause it mines run solid..

if you have a geforce card

please make sure youf BF1942 is at version 1.45 and your desert combat version is .4j

game rocked last night. i had some issues with the latest nvidia drivers.. i had to drop down 2 versions to fix it.. odd i could see though walls and shit..
