First phone. I just like the look of flip phones...thought about getting a camera phone but they're enough money for a bigger phone with a mediocre digital camera built in.

I wasn't super impressed with Pipecrew's digi-phone

samsung a500. i didn't really see the need for a camera phone, and honestly i didn't even want the color screen. wouldn't have bought it if the reception wasn't inifinitely better.

i've always had samsung, started with an sch-1500, 8500, n200, and now this. the abuse my samsung phones in the past have taken and didn't even bat an eye, combined with my good luck with everything samsung, will keep me buying their products.

i really liked the n200, but it just wasn't getting good reception in some areas. 3g was a big upgrade.

I got Nokia 6110 .. but it's too big and shitty .. I am buying Siemens S55 .. like that phone

And we are fortunate to have on of the best mobile phone networks in the world and one of the highest rate of phone use per capita. I have had a mobile phone for over 20 years and back then it was just coverage to major cities, now you can be virtually anywhere where there are people and receive coverage even without satellite phones. :)
