:glugglug Isn't it a breach of contract if they did give out any personal information? Wouldn't it be more productive to file a class action against them?

I asked the same thing in the past to mail carriers when my address has been written wrong on a piece of mail, but yet it still somehow gets to me. Usually if the zipcode is correct, you'll get the mail...given that the address line is somewhat correct as well. In this case, there's probably just one or few streets at most with the word 'candle' in the name and located in his zipcode. With 91, Candle, and his zip code, shouldn't be hard at all for any mail carrier i would think. |
so then unless i'm incorrect,
it can basically be said that if you buy content from Matrix that Acacia will come after you. That instant download and reasonable price per set suddenly doesnt seem so "reasonable" eh ???? |

From Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913) [web1913]:
Collaborator \Col*lab"o*ra`tor\, n. [L. collaborare to labor together; col- + laborare to labor: cf. F. collaborateur.] An associate in labor, especially in literary or scientific labor. From WordNet (r) 2.0 [wn]: collaborator n 1: someone who assists in a plot [syn: {confederate}, {henchman}, {partner in crime}] 2: someone who collaborates with an enemy occupying force [syn: {collaborationist}, {quisling}] 3: an associate who works with others toward a common goal; "partners in crime" [syn: {cooperator}, {partner}, {pardner}] |

i had a friend who wanted to get started into selling adult content, he shoots porn movies on video tapes for movie rental shops.. told him about matrix content and to sign up and check how they have shit setup, because he was looking to sell some of his stuff online but didn't understand how it all worked. he got his letter today and was all pissed off at me because he didn't know what this shit was, after i explained it to him, he said has the money to protect himself and sue for what they did, we will see..

1. if this WAS the case, why the FUCK would i come on here and make this thread, knowing that i had infringed on whatever? 2. what difference would changing my information on your site make if i was infact cought for something? 3. all the matrix threads, and this is your only response?? FUCK YOU!! post some fucking proof like i did, or shut your fucking trap ... and thanks Equinox for that comment .. real fucking classy :321GFY |
dude, what do you expect? do you really expect me to cover your back after all what you pulled in the past? p-lease.
gimme a break here. classy or not. |
sign up to matrix content under microsoft's address :thumbsup
|
Equinox, I have no hidden aagenda for the proof that I posted.
Before this, I could've cared 2 shits about Matrix or Acacia. Don't have any sites that are in my name that have video, and I don't buy content. I come home from a nice long weekend trip and see a lawsuit threat in the mail??? Fuck that. |
Quote:
but by you saying you will by from them regardless, is a stab in the back to everyone being fucked over, and has PROOF. You are taking his few words and beleiving them, because of what? What reason do i have to make anything up? Would i photoshop an acacia letter to match my matrix info ... just to tie them into it? and would i do this, knowing that i have had legal issues with this company, and id hate for these issues to come public?? I have never, EVER had any dealings with them in my life ... legal or illigal. beleive me or not, i really dont care. |

Chrétien said it best when questioned about matrix.
"A proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a proof. And when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven." :thumbsup Canada Rules! |

The mail sorter's job is so repetitious that after awhile they have lot of the names memorized. My brother got a letter from my grandparents last year that just had his name ,city and zip code on it |
I smell fire.
could be the hills and canyons outside. either way, shits burning. :glugglug |
Jayman is not the type of person to make something like this up and Rich is even smart enough to know that if he came here posting false info he could get sued so why would he do that. Fuck you Matrix and fuck your partners in crime Acacia.
And yes I just said something about matrix, you gonna sue me for my opinion, go right ahead, now I see why your working so closely with Acacia, because your both law suit happy. I will dance in the streets the day Matrix content goes out of business for making the stupidest business decision ever. Power to the People Fight the Patten FUCK MATRIX CONTENT!! |

Hmm that statement wasnt too good. Why use terms like Go Fuck Youself and Payback is a bitch on wheels? Are those legal terms that would look good in court?
BTW wouldnt it be libel if its whats written down on here? As someone else suggested in another thread I think that a cease & desist letter from Matrix would *seriously* help them save some face, whereas if they dont...... Irrespective of whether Matrix gave them access to their database or not, mud sticks and people can draw their own conclusions. |

Hi Everyone,
Wow this is really interesting stuff and I must say it does look rather clear cut to be honest. From what Jay posted on NP I would have to believe you 100%, with this other proof that's up here on GFY well in my opinion that's just the icing on the cake. I doubt that any webmaster will ever consider purchasing content again from Matrix now or in the future. It's a shame that this has to happen in a way as their content is of the highest quality but....again we are a community and all value the help we give each other. Shopping fellow webmasters has got to be one of the worst offences known to this industry. Matrix have a share of the market where contents concerned but......not for long, looks like these will be another content company to bite the dust, it's totally unexpected but well deserved if true and I am sure your all agree it does certainly look that way. I am happy that I have always picked content from http://www.focusadult.com over Matrix the only reason was value for money. At least anyone looking for content of this high quality now has a much better reason to go elsewhere focus has got to be the new Matrix on the block now. Danny ))) |
All things Acacia posted in one place:
FTP's Acacia FAQ: http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=190214 Fight the Patent! |
Am I missing something, or did Matrix's comment disappear from this thread, except as quoted by Rich?
Quote:
1) They aren't refuting this in a convincing manner by posting their logs, when it would be pretty easy, and to their great benefit...in my opinion. 2) Their "This will be my final post and statement on this board" seems like the sort of thing that a person would do if they were in serious denial or were tied up in a lie...in my opinion. 3) Their insistance for proof that will stand up in court, ignoring the preponderance of evidence already offered. They just seem too defensive about this...in my opinion. It could be weird coincidences and forged documents from liars that are being posted, but taking the body of evidence as a whole, and assuming most people are being honest, I think a compelling case could be made in court. Matrix seems to want some smoking gun, like a notarized letter from Acacia asserting "We stole Matrix's contact database. Warm regards, Acacia." It isn't going to happen. The best proof webmasters can offer is what they've already offered - peculiar/unique contact info that matches both Acacia's and Matrix's database. One more trivial thing, in another thread someone thought Matrix's database wasn't used, because they spelled their company name with an "LLC", but Acacia's letter used "Llc." Based on Rich's posting, it looks like Acacia is running addresses through a "capitalize each first letter and lowercase the others," filter among other things. Maybe more Acacia letter recipients could confirm that. |
is this the most interesting thread ever started by lil2rich?
id say so :glugglug |
I will NEVER buy matrix content!
FUCK YOU MATRIX! SELL OUT! |

I thought its slander if its not the truth. |

Either way its a bad situation. The Matrix response was nothing short of a cornered rats desparate attempt to survive. All the threats. Seriously ignorant. |
