You sure you weren't intoxicated during the frisk? Are you sure by you telling the bouncer to "smile" you weren't implying that he was supposed to LIKE frisking a man like he was gay or something?

Think about it.....Say I was a low paid bouncer at a nightclub and I knew for a fact that groups of pornographers who make money from pussy were coming...Then one of those pornographers smiles when I'm frisking him and then tells me to smile...I would think that the cocksucker was disrespecting me...If I was the bouncer, I would be saying to myself, "Who is this fucker telling me to smile at MY job?"

People smile in your face all day but they are secretly jealous of you..I know a coke dealer here in my town and we both have a mutual female friend...She told me that he is jealous of me because she told him that I have more bitches than any other man she knows...

You cannot piss off the servants of the world...Just throw your hands up, let him frisk you and look nonchalant about it....

I'm sure that you weren't being mean to the bouncer but you must remember that you have some beady little eyes and by you "smiling" at people that don't know about you would rub them the wrong way...You have a natural sneaky look on your face due to those beady eyes...I'm sure you're not sneaky at all but you sure do look it...

Take it from me, a fat dark black man who has to CONSTANTLY put people at ease because they are afraid of how I look...

Please. The cocky high and mighty attitude is not necessary. They are fucking door men for christ sakes. Not Aarons fault the guy gets paid $8 an hour and can't afford a sense of humour. As far as him being drunk...I have never seen Aaron drunk.:2 cents:

One thing about Aaron is he tries to be friends with everyone.
He's cool and very outgoing. It has it price as you can see here.

More the reason I try to stick with a core of friends at these shows. Usually family or people Ive known a long time. There's a reason Ive made a "family" and at these shows I stick by it.

If I were there with Aaron I would not have gone in without him. He knows this. Nor would he gone in without me.

But Aaron likes that big group thing at the shows I notice, where as I like to keep my entourage at the hip and close friends and family.

Sucks what happend to em.

BUt i dont think it will happen again.

Sounds like Aaron just found out he isn't as popular and well liked as he thought he was.

That was a test. If it happened to me, id be more pissed at the people who went in without me than the bar itself.

Loyality goes a long ways with me.

Something that most people joke about is the BP4L family thing. Id hope and choose very carefully who I choose as friends in this industry and call "family"

Anyone who turned their back on you like that and went in after this would not be someone Id consider family.

Once again. Loyality.

You just hit the nail right on the head. :thumbsup

Nope. They know who they are.

boneprone 10-28-2003 02:20 PM

Aaron...

Loyality and lack of Loyality are a huge issue with me.
Always has been.

You and I had a lot of talks this show.
I kinda talked more than I should have, but as you probably know, the only problems I have with people in this industry or the only things that distrub me are those who lack this loyaluty only to discover it the hard way..

Its distrbing to say the least.

Stick to your own kind.

Stick to the family.

boneprone 10-28-2003 02:21 PM

I was gone for about 1-2 months last summer.
It was nice to see who was still there for me when I got back after I went through a lot of private and public issues.

And distrubing to find out who was not.

YOU would have sure, no doubt. But look at all the people jumping on the bandwagon.

Reality and posting "I woudla had your back if I was there" on a message board are 2 seperate things.

Hopefully none of the people who ate free sushi and rib dinner you invited them to were the people who knowingly went in after you....that would be REALLY fucked up...

This may not be the right post for this, but Grim Shawn is a fucking class act guy. Of all the people who were there for me on my bounce back he was there..

Loyality.
Family.

Grim Shawn.

I have nothing but good things to say about him.

Impressed. Very Impressed.

A good friend. Aaron I hope you agree.

Grim youre the best :winkwink:

boneprone 10-28-2003 02:35 PM

Aaron, I know I get under your skin and shit becasuse we dont get a chance to chill more here at the motherland and all, but ya know damn well at the shows and when we are togheter, its family. Nothing but respect and loyality. Would never leave you hangin like that. I understand your want to hang with a bunch of people who you are trying to establish stronger relationships with but it has its price. Sucks.

I may not be the guy who is always around ya with these groups of leaches, its not my game, but you know when its the family core and we are togheter its a totally different story. What happend there would have never happened.

Understand this.......

I know who my friends are. I know who uses me and who does not. I have always known this and yet I still choose to do things like I do. This event was not an eye opener by any stretch of the imagination.

Everybody gets used in this business. Lensman throws parties and 1/3 of the people who show up turn around and bash him off the boards. It happens to everybody.

People are your friends when there is something in it for them EVERYBODY is guilty of this at some point. Yes...I said EVERYBODY...And that means YOU too.

Let me give you an example......

I pulled together a little dinner gathering. Although several people thanked me and Guerilla Traffic that night, very few gave public thanks on GFY.

That dinner cost an easy 3 grand PLUS the added expense of people showing up who were not on the guest list and still expected AND GOT a free meal out of the deal. I wanted to tell the uninvited people thanks for coming, here is your bill...BUT....Guerilla Traffic did the better thing and stepped up to the plate to cover the entire tab.

In this business, we have reality and perceived reality. It is perceived that our efforts are appreciated but in reality, most people do not appreciate it enough to even say thank you.

The key to being popular and well liked in this business is to be the first person to open your wallet. That's the truth, like it or not. I could have bribed the doorman and I could have gone in and ran up a couple thousand bucks for a bar tab but why would I do that when the very people I would be buying drinks for decided to go inside without me?

The way I see it...This thing saved me money. Like boneprone said.....Now we can see who are the true friends and who are the preceived ones.

Dwreck 10-28-2003 02:58 PM

Sorry about that I thought it was a joke and I was already inside when it happened.

Seeing Aarron M singing to ice cube at orange number 5 was classic.

Bar none was the first club I ever went to with porn peeps two years ago and I was so drunk i forgot the name so I got in it was deja vous. Creepy
6.75 drinks!! OUCH I used to make than an hour. LOL

webgurl 10-28-2003 03:04 PM

Hot diggity Dammn
I never go out to clubs/bars here (very seldom) maybe once a year cause there is just too much crap that goes down, being a girl i never had a bad experience myself of not getting in or paying issues ect..... but i hear of too many horror stories
Aaron :girl next time see yah lets go for drink(s) in my case drink

Chichio 10-28-2003 03:11 PM

Sorry that happened to you, man. I had no idea. I too was inside early in the night (I think this was Friday night).

I didn't find out about your problems at the door until the next day from Lucalicious (sp?).

Bouncers can be total pricks whenever they want. Total power trippers. :BangBang:

C_U_Next_Tuesday 10-28-2003 03:19 PM

I would have been pissed at my friends for going in without me, and leaving me hanging...bitch slapping and ass chewing would ensue i am sure.

but chalk this one up to fate... sounds like the "bar none" was a "zero" in the fun department.

Wiseman 10-28-2003 03:20 PM
