FEMA is on the way out there.

They hand out money grants like crazy during natural disasters. If your house or business has been affected in any way you can file a claim and they issue the checks very fast.

The funny thing it doesn't matter if you're rich and really don't need the money. They still give you free money.

In the 94 quake our house got hit hard. I was totally surprised when FEMA reps came knocking on our door, since we were in a private enclave and it was a $2 Million dollar estate home, and I thought they only gave money to the less fortunate people. But the FEMA guy came in saw we had earthquake damage and said even if you are wealthy the govt still has an obligation to give you a check during disasters. Got it right away too. It was under $50K, so it wasn't a whole lot of $$$, but nonetheless it was free money.

When the tornado took out my apartment back in Fort Worth a few years ago they were real quick to give me a check.

It sure did help. I turned that into a nice profitable little business that eventually led me to porn ;)
