failure to yield for a Stop sign. I had to pay the ticket and my insurance sky rocketed. damn. wish it was more exciting.
|
Someone had to get fucked, finger got pointed at me. I pled it down to failure to yield the right of way. Insurance covered it all including the suit ect. Cost of that accident made insurance company force my parents to remove me from their policy and both of them and myself had to sign papers saying I would never drive any vehicle insured by that company again.
They LOVE to blame "new" drivers. I got blamed when some bitch on a cell phone who wasn't paying attention rammed into the side of my brand new (had it for six days) car. |

That was convienent huh? I got mine and had the fines, the schools and the jacked the fuck up insurance and probation.... I haven't done it really since. I have my girlfriend with me or I don't drink in public at all. :Oh crap |
2 hit and runs, a couple few duis and a driving on the wrong side of the road while avoiding the police in a stolen auto

Other than that, no other tickets. No accidents, nothing. No DUI's, no driving without license. Nada. Im the best driver in LA thats for sure. :winkwink: |
Never had any real serious offences, I think the worst was doing like 95 in a 50 zone (km/h). Nothing too bad really...

Wa State puts the screws to you big time. Daughter in a car accident 2 years ago. Never even had a parking ticket or and driving offences ever. No one else was involved in the accident. To make a long story short. Reckless driving means losing your license for a year, attending classes for a year, even if no drinking was involved, filing sr22 for insurance, outrageous insurance rates. So far to date it has cost her about 15k and it is not over yet. Affects your driving record for 3 years.

Ive got a Failure to Yield Right of Way Resulting in Collision and an 86 in a 55 on I595 in FL. Guess I'm not doing as bad as some of the previous posters.

Only time I've ever been pulled over was for driving a car 2 years past inspection. Other then that never had a speeding ticket or anything in 14 or so years of driving.

I had two accidents in one week.
First one, I went straight on a left turn only lane. I was OK, the two cars to my right kissed, and I was chased down. Police came, didn't give me a ticket. That weekend, I ran a stop sign and had my car totalled. I did't have driver license at that time, was using my roommate's temporary one, no picture. So he got 4 points on his record. My record was clean, so I applied a car sales license. The first day at the job, I backed into a new PT cruiser and never showed up for work again. I think I was the worst driver in LA. Now I am driving w/o insurance, and I don't drive good. Avoid me when you see a blue Corolla, with left tail light broken, and a bumper sticker: "just visiting this planet". |
In addition to that, I have 2 parking tickets. No speeding tickets, though, although I have been pulled over twice. Once in Phoenix, once in LA. With my innocent looking, and "clean" driving record, they let me go. :thumbsup

I've been pulled over twice... the first time I was just sitting at a red light and a cop pulls up beside me, sits there for like a minute then starts honking his horn and saying on the speaker "pull over". So I give him the thumbs up and when the light turns green I make a right hand turn and pull off on to the shoulder.
Cop asks for license and registration... at the same time 2 more cop cars pull up and now I'm thinking "wtf is going on?". Cop goes back to his car, 3 cops from the other cars are just standing around my car now... first cop comes back and is like "alright, you can go". Weirdest thing ever. The second time I got pulled over I was driving from Vegas to Seattle, I'm on this highway in the middle of BFE, Nevada no cars around for miles in either direction, next thing you know, cop behind me with the lights on. So I pull over and the cop says "I clocked you going 75 in a 70". I just wanted to punch this guy for even wasting his time. But he ended up letting me go without a ticket. Bunch of nearly-pulled-overs though, luckily Vegas cops are more fond of driving up beside you and honking when you are speeding. |

As for my collector car kid, he's starting with a 2001 Dodge Dakota SLT pickup. Changed out the canopy to a color matched hard tonneau. Will be getting a Snyper body kit, lower it about 2 inches, may chop the top, then air bags, rims and tires. Then there's the 15's, 12s , etc.. he's planning on putting in the bed. |
I was driving alone with g1 licencse(i should have had a person with 4 years of experience in the front sit)
and went 89km/h in 50km/h 380 total fine and i payed 250 to a lawyer and got it down to 90$ and 3 points on my record :( |
101 MPH in a 65 - cost $700-800 and a 30 day suspended (but I got out of that with some quick thinking)
and you FBI guys can forget finding that, so don't bother trying :winkwink: |
