TGPs - How to stop cheaters? - GoFuckYourself.com

I am a submitter and it bothers me that so many cheaters submit to TGPs. Sooner or later every TGP owner will get tired of reviewing 100s of shitty galleries and trying to catch cheaters daily. And that will hurt the honest submitters and the TGPs that chose to list only their own galleries.

So... what can you do to avoid cheating and keep the good submitters?

I think the partner submitter system is the way to go. You make the submitter register, ask for all the info you want, and keep an eye on him. If he screws up once, he's gone. You accept only submissions from partners and keep a reasonable number active. If they stop submitting you kick them out and let new ones in.

You can even do something like pichunter, where each submitter has a ranking and good submitters get higher listings.

I think it's very important to have trust between the TGP owners and the submitters. Sometimes it seems that we are on opposite sides when we should be partners.... what do you think?

Why should I trust them, they don't trust me. Had one on this board post that it was ok to sell email address's.

Get a script that checks for refresh/popups etc every 10 minutes. If it find a gallery that does this ban and delete it.

No need for anyone to manually do things these days.

Non that I know of yet, however im beta testing it with my tgp script for the last week. :D Seems to be working well to.
For the moment the script puts the link ON HOLD till I review it to make sure I don't ban good galleries.

AutoGallery already has a linkchecke than scans the galleries, works fine on my TGP and catches alot of em. Just have htaccess run it every so often. Although I am working towards getting all partner account submitters, makes shit alot easier.

Most serious TGP scripts have a gallery checking script included that can check for things like that. Don't run it every 10 minutes though. That's a completely unnecessary waste of bandwidth and server resources.
