Sorry I thought this was an adult webmaster board, I didn't realize there were so many grocery store workers that hang out here. Healthcare plus all the other demands you guys are striking for, is not fair to the customers or to the stores that can't even afford to pay minimum wage to high school kids, much less meet unrealistic demands of career grocery baggers. Give me a fuckin break.
Walmart starts their non-management employees at minimum wage. Sure they might be a little crippled or white trash-ish but they do the same damn job that people getting 3-4 times more than them get. Lets make all the businesses in the US start paying people unrealistic wages for jobs that you don't need skills to qualify for... talk about affecting the economy, that would surely bring it to it's knees. :thumbsup
People working these jobs make a lot less than "upper class" white collar jobs, but they also pay a lot less taxes AND get refunds. |
