Second time in 6 years I've lost all my gaming and movie stuff... I happen to have a friend who still goes to highschool, and could be viewed as one of the "cool group people"... He's gonna keep an eye open, if anyone's selling an Xbox or PS2, he's gonna kick their ass, then tell me who they are, so I can kick their ass too.

I hate guns.. I wouldn't even trust god if he had a gun.. I'd rather just let the kid take $1000 worth of stuff than kill him..

Thats what bugs me about people that think they have to have "home protection" in the form of a firearm... The kid stealing their xbox obviously has problems, or he wouldn't be stealing your xbox.. instead of shooting him, keep him at gunpoint (or tackle his ass, whichever seems like a better idea at the time) and wait for the cops to arrive.. then make sure he gets help instead of 6 months taking it in the ass from crooked juvy guards...

I'm not going to get into details, but I will say this:

I was in a situation a while back where I hadn't stolen anything yet, but planned on it. 1998 sonoma, friends were urging me to steal is so we could take it for a spin.. Needless to say, the owner comes sprinting out his front door, his friend behind him, and they proceed to chase me and one of the guys there down and beat the shit out of us.. I limped for like 3 months after that one.. Instead of just telling the police to, "toss him to the dogs", he told them he'd rather see me go through some kind of program where you dont get a record, instead you meet the victim of the crime and come to an agreement on what has to be done to make things better...

Instead of autotheft on my record, I got to know the guy really good. Turns out he spent time in prison, and up until 10 years before, lived in a motel room selling heroin.

From that point on, I had a different outlook on life, and especially criminals. They weren't scum so much anymore as they were people with problams.. :)

I used to post here under a different name, but because of some problems with certain people, I left for a while and decided to come back under a different name. And no, not all my posts have been in this thread, one was from a thread like a week ago or something.
