ACACIA - I Know Which Sponsor Ratted You Out

I am stating fact. These are the only two affiliates I have signed up with that are a party to licencing deals with Acacia. My real name is not public knowledge.

I am not liable for any apology. If my comments about Hustler and Vivid defame to the point of hurting your business, your business is already sunk. The last time I checked with Hoover's both Hustler and Vivid were both doing $100MM in sales a year. A poor little webmaster with 25,000 uniques make you feel scared?

I only serve escort ads on my network. All secondary income comes from affiliate-only sales. I do not stream or push any video or audio content, nor do I have a paysite section.

I have never purchased content from Matrix.

You dont promote ANY other sponsors and never have ever? I find that a little hard to believe.

the letter i got used a nickname i rarely use, and neither hustler, vivid nor matrix have that nickname. i'm pretty sure ce does not have it either.

True. As I stated in another post, I am gathering a complete list which should be quite easy since the vast majority were sign-ups after March.

Last night Fletch XXX jumped the gun and named Hustler as the possible culprit. Upon further investigation he apologized and acknowledged that he jumped to conclusions to fast. I was not happy with his initial statement, but he was smart enough to investigate further and man enough to admit his mistake. Are you?

You are entitled to your opinion about Hustler and Vivid settling, however, you are not entitled to make false accusations.

I give you credit. You are one of the few standing here in defense of companies you work for.

There are many companies that have not posted one word in their defense.

I think Giorgio_Xo might be jumping the gun a bit but I think you are as well. You don't need to say "I'm gonna sue you if you talk bad about me" for people to know where you're coming from. A lot of people feel like they're drowning and don't need more threats when they come up for air.

I understand your point, but finger pointing can be harmful and dangerous if it's done irresponsibly. It's one thing to say "It's possible that Hustler did it because they were one of the companies who settled". It's totally different to say that we DID do it with no facts, no proof...just assumptions.

Fletch XXX made that assumption last night, but we resolved our dispute very quickly because he was smart enough to double check his facts and then had the balls to apologize after he found out that things didn't add up.

I didn't threaten to sue anyone. I just asked for an apology and a retraction unless he could prove his accusations (which I know he can't because I personally have control over the affiliate databases of Hustler and Vivid).

This is a hot issue for everyone involved and I would be beyond pissed if someone shared my personal or company info with another company, so I understand why everyone is so hot.

However, we have a long history of being honest and treating our affiliates well, so I don't like being accused of something that is totally false.

Ken, didn't Hustler and Vivid say in their joint statement that anyone who promotes them is safe from Acacia?
