            Kim, my company received a package from those blowhards addressed to a domain name. All our domains have the same corporate whois info but papers were sent to the domain name and not the company. I'm sure it's because they're not too savvy about the net ;)

              amazing. not even 1 sponsor has defended themselves. there is probably some term on their pages when you sign up that says they can legally give out your information.

              this is how i THINK the acacia shit went down.

              acacia sent them a packet. demanding 5% and they contacted a lawyer about fighting it. they were told it could take years and millions of dollars to defend this and you would be better off just settling. These days, the sponsors aren't making what they used to (because of all the competition), scared shitless about this 1% charge back ratio, no way they would want to fight this in court and spend millions more. So they descide to settle but 5% to some of the big affiliate programs is alot of money, expecially since they would have to pay 5% since they opened their sites over 5 - 10 years ago. that number can be up to 10 million $$$ or more. so the affiliate program tells acacia there is no way they can pay this, "we don't have this kind of money" but maybe we can work out a deal. how about we sign and you can tell everybody that we signed. by us signing, all of our affiliates are now breaking patent laws because they have not signed. because they are breaking patent laws, we will make your life 500% easier by giving you all of the information of people that are illegally signed up to our sites. That is all we can do for you, because if you want this kind of money, it's plain and simple "we do not have it"

              if you are suspecting certain affiliate programs, go thru and see if their terms of signing up have changed. they could of easily added in the line "If you are breaking patent laws your information may be giving to 3rd parties" because when you signed up it says "these terms may change frequently without notification and you are supposed to check these terms daily"

              that's my

                At least it's some kind of explanation.

                SPONSOR PROGRAMS PLEASE SPEAK UP HERE!

                We here from them constantly to pump their product.. this seems an easy question to answer. Now it's after hours so I'm sure we'll see some input tomorrow.. I hope. I wish this all wasn't true. We need to stand together on this and not be left out in the cold to be picked off one by one.

                  4.5 That nothing on, in or associated with your web site violates any laws, regulations, rules or customs, including but not limited to violation of regulations set forth at 18 U.S.C. Section 2257 et seq., or violate or infringe any rights of any person or entity, including any intellectual property rights, including, without limitation any copyrights, patent rights, trademark rights, trade secret rights, or rights of publicity, or any person?s or entities? privacy rights or any other personal or proprietary rights of any kind; and

                  bam, first one i looked at. cecash has that in their terms. if you are violating patent you are breaking their rules, wonder how many other affiliate programs have this? or if it's just them?

                            i dont know who did it, but i only have one thing to say to whichever affiliate program did:
                            <IMG SRC=http://66.9.83.78/gfy/youdick.jpg>
                            SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR.
                            Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
                            Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

                              , wonder if anybody has saved the terms and conditions of an affiliate program from 3 months ago and to see if their terms have changed after signing with acacia?
