Subject "Good work guys!"
Body went something like this:

"You guys are awesome. I love how you're cracking down on the adult industry.
Putting out hundreds of business owners and family supporters with a patent you KNOW is bullshit is a really classy way to get rich fast.

these fuckers are getting the mailing addresses from AFFILIATE PROGRAMS.

this letter came to my HOME and not the address I have on my WHOIS.

they are using webmaster databases to contact people.

Here is a list of the people on the papers I was served that have settled and are MOST DEFINITELY PASSING ON OUR INFO to acacia./

LFP (Hustler)
Interactive Gallery a subsidiary of New Frontier Media
Cyberotica
Sex Check AVS
Matrix Content
Vivid Entertainment
Wicked Pictures
Platinum Bucks.

I assure you now, i am only affiliated with Hustler and Platinum, and I will remove all links because of this.

Where better than the source? Why track people down when you can just grab a list of all the people who push say hustler or Platyinum Bucks and target those.

By theory if you bought Matrix content, all acacia would have to do is get Matrix to hand over all their records and contact all the people who bought videos from them.

Seems the easiest route.

Well I hope you can narrow it down. Thats just wrong. You have to wonder if the information was purchased by Acacia or was part of the actual settlement with one of these companies.

Serve them Fletch and find out which turned you and then sue them for invasion of privay or some such. I'm sure an attorney can find some way to do it. Run up the sponsors tabs beyond what they would pay for caving in for a full price license.

Or small claims them (if possible) in whatever state you live in when they turn each person over. 3-5k a whack wil nickel and dime them into thinking twice before making such agreements.

I always thought that sponsors could NOT give out personal information, but then again they could easily change their TOS to make it all legal for them. I will be watching this thread closely and know who NOT to deal with
