Post a pic of your miter saw

I'm seriously thinking of buying a miter saw, since it gives you immunity from being "owned"

What brand should I get? How much should I spend?

Post pics if you have one!

dewalt rocks.... spendy though.

makita sucks.

I've always had good luck with craftsman stuff too though. Except that dust bag on the back is useless... gotta use the shopvac adapter and hook it straight into the shopvac.

What do you mean by that, I have a every power tool there is. I worked as a Union Electrician for 12 years.

I have been on huge construction sites all over the country and can do pretty much anything when it comes to every type of construction. I have a master electricians licence( High Voltage , Fiber optic splicing, ect. ) I have an articulated vehicle licence to drive cranes and all the certifications for welding.

I know power tools !

Back in my cabinet shop days I always used DeWalt. Porter Cable routers, Delta table saws, and the rest was DeWalt.... well, unless you count the Holzma, but that's a REALLY big saw.

Does anybody see anything scary in this picture? If Dugmor wasn't such a nice guy, those fingers could go bye bye... heh

Right on ..... I would have never guessed that. Thats pretty cool. You should rig up a 440v vibrator and get to filming.
You can mig, tig ,wire feed all that ? Ever weld any exotic metals ? Monel, waspoloy, some of the higher grade stainless steels ? The melting point is so high but the cooling rate is very fast. Impressive. Welding is hard to do well. I did some aerospace stuff before, controlled depth penetration all the welds X rayed for cracks and fishers. Penetrant inspected for surface voids. Ahhh the memories !! Glad I'm done with that.

The Obey campaign can be explained as an experiment in Phenomenology.
The first aim of Phenomenology is to reawaken a sense of wonder about one's environment.
The Obey campaign attempts to stimulate curiosity and bring people to question
both the campaign and their relationship with their surroundings.
Because people are not used to seeing advertisements or propaganda for which the motive is not obvious,
frequent and novel encounters with Obey propaganda provoke thought and possible frustration,
nevertheless revitalizing the viewer's perception and attention to detail.

You know it ! I have never done any exoctic metals. My professional welding experience was mostly structural steel, brackets, ect. Everything else was for car body work and stuff. It was fun but for sure I would'nt want to be breating the fumes anymore and I am sure my dreads would be a lot shorter from the sparks if I was till doing it !
