Do you have a favorite living Philosopher. I did a report on a semi famous Philosopher who taught at UC Berkley and may still be teaching (and whose name I cannot recall at the moment). He attempted to philosophize about the "Anatomy of a Riot" which referred to one of the Berkley protests/riots from the 60's during the Vietnam era. I really don't think the work was "doing philosophy" but I found the "Anatomy of a Riot" to be fascinating.

Agreed. I found GFY to become....infected...after my absence and return. Although, I have to admit it was quite a gap.

I too was a victim of infantile "ownage" and pissing off the person with access to the ban button.

But all is not lost. Soon, I feel, there will be quite a few of us flocking somewhere new, it's just a matter of finding somewhere worthy.

But you've got to ask yourself, why is it that the banned cannot let go of GFY and move elsewhere, to invite a handful of good friends over and start a revolution of sorts? A lack of faith?

Being banned takes 3 words...its really easy as i found out a couple of months ago. Getting unbanned was less easy.

Like mentioned before its a shame that all the spammers and grogans can post their shit and dont get banned, just in some cases getting a thread closed.
