It's somewhere between safe and not safe. It's definitely not completely safe, but not as risky as a lot of other stuff out there. If it's more stylized artsy bondage, you're safer than if it looks more authentic, or if the bound participant looks uncomfortable. Remember that sponsors can ban you for this sort of stuff too.
