ViM ... vi improved. much nicer. if you look in the vim directory or something, can't remember exactly where, vim comes with a huge handy tutorial for it. if you go through that tutorial, you'll be using vim in no time. and it's way better than anything else i've used.<a href="http://www.iroc409.com/"><img src="http://www.iroc409.com/adv/120x60.gif" border=0></a>

If you use pico run it with pico -w to turn of line wrapping.
If you want a little more advanced but still very easy to use
you might like the editor joe look at the help screen for 1 minute
and off you go.
