Click Tracking and Sponsors

Whats an average difference between the two numbers that is acceptable? Assuming that the sponsor counts first page hits.

Currently trying a new sponsor and I show 167 clicks to them and they show 71.

This is from a site that does alot of trades.
Taking all things into account (shit hitbot traffic getting through here and there, search engine spiders, content rippers, etc) whats acceptable to you?

Hmm...or is it simply best to gauge your own ratios via click tracking instead of sponsor hosted stats?

Every sponsor counts clicks differently.

I would just look at the # of clicks you send by your own count...and then look at how much money you make for sending those clicks. VPC ( Value per Click) is the only way to track.

What sponsor? Some count 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/etc page or join page.

It's all a fucking numbers game where one says my ratio is 1/100 or so but they didn't tell you it took 50,000 uniques to get the 1/100 ratio.

Also what script are you using to track your clicks? How do you know its unique not raw?
