everyone gets whats coming to them eventually. I knew a white collar criminal like this and the guy was super cocky. Would open up bank accounts with stolen social security numbers etc then write a ton of bad checks for merchandise that he would keep or sell. Then a friend ratted him out and was sent to federal prison for like 7 years.

Then once the guy got out of prison he continued to commit various check fraud. Its a compulsion with some people to steal. It can be easy money to rip people off and thats all they know, they have no skills or dedication to make money any other way.
