You've said the Cubs should be this far due to a corked bat in May/June? Please. Probably one of the 44,000 fairweather marlins fans. LOL |
I'm not a Marlins fan by any means. I've watched the entire series as I love the game of baseball. I'm a die hard Yankees fan actually....
Sosa is a homerun hitter and the Cubs depend on his batting, and it was corked...yes, the Cubs got to that point due to cheating! |

Maybe it has something to do with the Cubs beating some Yankee ass earlier in the season. Let's go baseball -- hit me with your abundance of knowledge.... LOL |
What do you want to know about baseball? You ask me...I'll answer.
|
8-3 loss? they're reachin, eh?
|
What do you do as a manager after your team loses to the Red Sox?
|
First if that were to happen I would assess my weaknesses...which with the Yankees happens to be their middle relievers. They need stronger pitching when Clemens and Pettite are done.
|
So you wouldn't address the starting pitching?
Isn't Rodger hanging the spikes up? Wells? Please. I'll give you 'Pettite'. :winkwink: Anyone else on the staff a free agent? :1orglaugh |
I would say for a GIRL she knows her shit.

"If crybabies want to blame a fan rather than the team, let them whine. But I'd expect more prudence from the media.
Yet Wednesday proved an embarrassment to my profession. The soulless press posse quickly managed to turn a devoted Cubs fan into Public Enemy No. 1. The smokinggun.com, which normally touts wacky court documents pertaining to slimebags like Joey Buttafuoco, ran the guy's name. I'll admit, the story might warrant some information about the guy: Cubs supporter? Marlins mole? But this is no criminal. Did the site need to run his name? It reveals nothing, aside from a target for beer-fueled psychos anxious to vent their angst. The Chicago-Sun Times went further, printing the guy's workplace. It even listed the Little League team he coaches. And like G-men swarming John Dillinger at the Biograph Theater, the media surrounded the poor mope's home. Not just Chicago media. "Inside Edition" parked a truck outside - what, was J. Lo on the scene? Why don't these idiots descend upon the home of pitcher Mark Prior and badger him about cracking under pressure and blowing the game? Cubs fans and sportscasters have given Prior a pass. People aren't perfect. Can't the fan in the turtleneck get the same empathy? I hope that as you read this, the day after the fateful seventh game, that the Cubs won. Otherwise, Mr. Turtleneck is going to get run out of town. Then again, considering the company he has to keep among Cubs fans and reporters in Chicago, maybe that's a blessing." http://www.pjstar.com/news/luciano/b11v03c7033.html |

I can't believe all this shit. My uncle a huge baseball fan, more than me, has been telling me all about this shit! It's bullshit.
I can't believe all the fans think that this, one, single fan costed the Cubs from getting the world series. Bullshit, the team cost themselves it. Maybe they need to train better! Fuck all the Cub fans that blame it on this one single guy! :321GFY jDoG |
He is on the radio on a miami radio station every night having the time of his life, at the tittie bars, judging bikini contest, etc....... Go marlins!!!
