I don't value HTML much. So it's hard for me to learn. But without diffrent values this world whould be stone age. So it's good that you value HTML. :glugglug |

whatever dude..... it's your fucking ignorance, not mine.... lol :glugglug |
Tell Bill Gates he's a useless moron because he can't write the source code for windows media and see how far you get.
This entire argument is idiotic. Let's put it this way... Brad employs people. You are employed. What you think he needs to know to run his business obviously is wrong, or you'd be in his position rather than being in yours. |

Who gives a fuck? I mean really. It's like saying the guy in charge of McDonalds is an idiot because he doesn't know how to operate the drive-thru intercom. He'd better watch out for a new fast food franchise; O'Donalds, where drive thru attendants and shit kickers are running the show, and all those corporate fat cats are flippin' burgers.
<font size=+3><B>VIVA LA REVOLUTION!</B></font> Idiots. |

no shit, thats exactly what i thought |
I don't know of any business where the CEO has to know the specific programming languages that the techs in the basement use.
Simple low level HTML coding can be farmed out to india while the owner focuses on business strategies...All that the manager would need is a "general understanding" of how HTML works..He doesn't have to be able to sit and code... |
Why would you need to know HTML or basic programming, when everything these day is given away for free or practically including hosted galleries, free sites, free scrips and for a few dollars you can have programmers install any scripts you want, get designers to make you TGPs, galleries, banners.

JC on a crutch! As a bonified certified techie (C++/MFC/Perl/PHP neophyte/HTML is child's play), I ask the simple question - "why would someone like Brad Shaw need to know HTML?"
Is he going to pop into the xlesbians.com source some night and tweak the cell padding? Fuck no, he's got better things to do and minions to do that shit. In fact, when working for someone my best boss is someone who knows what they want but is not too fluent in the technology. The ones who think they know the technology usually know just enough to be dangerous and in the way and just screw up the project for everyone, including themselves :) Of course, this applies more to real programming than to HTML, which really is pretty trivial. |

And shit, if he was still writing crappy html websites after 14600 hours of being in this game, then I suspect peeps called call him lame. Anyways.. just my opinion. pz |
I'm sure he could brush up on his html skills in a matter of a day or two if he wanted.

Y'all can add me to the list of people that doesn't know HTML enough to do a page from scratch. Always seemed like a big waste of time to me... that's why there's designers, programmers and when I need to get stuff done... Dreamweaver.
I remember having an argument with a best friend about this when I first started in the business. He was a purist, stating that his code was superior, etc... whatever! Now I'm the one with the phat business and he's still punching a clock for someone else and his sites are still only a hobby. Cheers, Brad |
That some funny shit.
Amp owned once again. :1orglaugh |
Pure entertainment.
For the record, I can out-html Brad any day of the week! Bring it on, Brad. Brad does indeed employ a damn good team. |

I remember one time when I toured a GMC factory where they make the Denali's. Right there on the line was the CEO putting fenders on. I asked him what he was doing and he replied " You can't always depend on the grunts to do this work for you, you have to know your business, thats the #1 rule". Or that other time I visited a Chevron oil field in Texas. There was the CEO in jeans, covered head to toe in oil. He also knew that you can't always count on the grunts. Amp, seriously, just shut the fuck up already. Day in and day out, you prove how clueless you really are. Designers are a dime a dozen. You are a good one, no doubt, but you don't have the business sense of a fly. Move on. Jealousy is so unattractive on you. Brad Shaw is smart and successful. You on the other hand are a bitter jealous hanger on. |
