oh yeah there are male pornstars and they are making big bank these days. Top male pornstars now double as directors who own their own movie lines or studios. John Stagliano and Ed Powers were not only pioneers as gonzo directors but also as businessmen.

Peter North owns his own line of movies, Brandon Iron and Michael Stefano own their own studio Platinum-X, Ed Powers, Randy West, TTBoy, Lexington Steele, Eric Everhard, Tom Byron has a new studio of his own, Jules Jordan owns his own lines, etc etc

i would think ron jeremy is the best known, even outside of porn. he's well known enough to be paid to work in infomercials and to be a spokesman for products...
