Do you use Win2000 Pro?
If you do, is it a big memory hog?
I have it installed on a system I'm using until my new system arrives. Granted, it only has 256k memory on it, but I'm amazed by how quickly it runs out of memory! I open explorer, and go to a couple of sites, and next thing I know, I get the message "not enough memory" when I go to compose email with outlook express. Is there some "trick" to saving memory or anything special in regards to memory useage with win2000 pro I should know about? I'm really getting tired of re-booting! grin |

Yeah, I run Win 2000 pro on my encoder with a gig of ram and it runs excellent. Upgrade my man.

i run it on my laptop cuz i dont use it enough to bother upgrading... actually i tried to ugrade it once but it told me a slew of shit may not work, yada yada... so i cancelled ..

I use it on 3 of my laptops and never had a problem with it, but make sure you keep up to date with patches and stuff because it does have a shitload of holes in it
