In the totality of life, the liberal way is wrong. its just that simple.
A vote for Bush is NOT a vote against this industry, its a vote for how this industry currently runs. Big difference.
From your posts, I wouldn't expect you to understand that. Intelligence seems to be your second language.:1orglaugh

i doubt you've even read more than a few of my posts. then again, you do live on the board. but like a typical republican, everyone who disagrees with you is automatically an idiot. and no its not as simple as that, you surely can't believe that things in life are simply black and white, right and wrong.

Serious poll done by Gallup.

What is also interesting is that the increase in the support of Bush comes from the more wealthy persons ( they said people earning over 75,000.00) that have profited from the upward stock market ...

As FletchXXX says, election will be the real "poll".

Why - yes - a matter of fact being the US President is a popularity contest.

I would not put too much creedence in a poll of 1,000 people in a nation of 300 million

As for the world outside the US - your opinion of the US President is as meaningless as a dry hump in the backseat of a VW Bug.

You don't vote for the US President

What a stupid thing to say. So you value Ms. Cleo's opinion about theorectical physics as much as Dr. Carl Brans' opinion?

It's the same with economics -- the opinion of Ludwig von Mises is much more significant than that of some GFY flunkie who can't think his way out of an indifference curve.

Sadly not!! I wish we did not give a shit about the asshole! But since he is intruding on others outside the US, breaking international law and now and making pleas for help - the asshole does concern other countries.

The fact that I never voted for a Texas Village Idiot is something I am proud of. It says volumes about those who did tho! :winkwink:

Sherie, I'm considering doing a Pierre Elliot Trudeau round-table at the next internext.

Hopefully some will walk away from that meeting with a sense of how a real politician leads a country and its economy. :)

35-50 million Americans in poverty (making less than 10k a year) and we invade 2 shit stain countries and hand over billions of dollars.

For the people that support Bush, quit being so stupid. If you want to support the war then do so, but don't support Bush.

Vote for bush if you want!
To lose your job in the adult business.
Lose all your civil rights and human rights.
Kill more humans around the world.
Get more americans in poverity.

While he gets richer, feeding his oil companies, leading his flock of sheep and making them think he is god.

I guess the good thing is all the war on terrorism he has done, wait.. What has he done? NOTHING, other than invade two countries. So why vote for him?

I saw on the news, they said he stoped terror attacks and saved American? .. WTF? What did he do? We have only had one attack on our land and I look at it more that he let them attack while on vacation 8 times at his Texas ranch.

I served my country once already and I would die for country today to protect it, but not if Bush is leading it.

I think the point 12clicks is trying to make is that he knows that having Bush in power will fuck over alot of people in the industry and alot of people in general, but he's filthy fucking rich. 12clicks will get his bigger tax break, be able to get away with more shady business practices and have less competition in the adult part of his business because he can afford to keep it going. Believe it or not, some people do believe in the truest form of capitalism and actually want the gap between the classes to get bigger and bigger.

cluck 10-14-2003 01:59 PM

BTW those polls were posted before, I remember seeing them.

If we were all forced to bet a large sum of money on who wins the election, im pretty sure most of the money would be on Bush.

No doubt he is the favorite to win no matter what polls or what the media may be saying..

We all know this.

And if I had to bet on it Id be forced to bet on Bush, as im sure most of you people would be doing as well.

boneprone 10-14-2003 02:09 PM

But then again, whenever I bet on that "sure thing" it always looses so this could be a good thing.

when henry ford started paying his workers $5 a day there was an uproar, but ford realized that only people with money could buy his product.

if you are selling a luxury product such as porn it seems like you'd want your customers to have as much disposable income as possible to allow them to purchase your product.

Who cares who wins -- a president can't decide shit on his own unless he ends up with a bullet in his head like Kennedy. The world is mostly run on fear and bribes... I don't think that will ever change. I don't know why I even bother thinking about it -- just let me know when the revolution is coming so I can skip town :1orglaugh
