CCBILL is pissing me off and keeping my money

I cashed a check from them 2 days past the stale date so it was returned and the money removed from my account. I called them right away and they couldnt do much because I didnt know which check number it was. 2 days later I called them back with the returned check. I was told they would issue another one by Friday. I called them a week later. They didnt get to it for some reason but would do it by that Friday. A couple of weeks go by and I decide to call them again. They hadnt got around to it again, but said it would be here almost 2 weeks ago.
Who do I need to contact to get a check re issued because it damn sure isnt the customer service guy I've been dealing with. I was told he was the guy in charge of replacing checks when I called but obviously he is in charge of forgetting to replace checks.

Maybe someone from Virgin-Movies can help with this. Does anyone have an ICQ number rather than their koloweb email address?

Yeah, it was in a pile of paperwork that I never got to go through. By the time I got to sorting through it, the check was 2 days stale.

Hell you can make deposits at ATMs in a lot of places. And if you can't it takes a few minutes at the bank. Deposit those things right away what are you guys waiting for.

Contact Sean E at ccbill, i had a payment problem with clubjenna before they switched out of ccbill and he took care of everything within a day for me even when their accounting froze my account. Wait until the morning and I'm sure someone at ccbill will see this thread and reply to you.

I don't think that it's a good idea to come on here and flame CCBill, when you didn't cash the check until AFTER it's expiration date. What did you expect would happen ?? Actually, you should be mad at the bank that cashed it because they should've noticed the date and shouldn't have cashed it in the first place.

THEN if you still wanted to be mad, be mad at CCBill's bank because they're the ones that made the check come back to you because of the date, I'm sure that CCBill didn't have anything to do with it, it's all about the banks and a stale check. It's not like CCBill had any personal attention to it to return it on ya.

Hell, I know that when I get a check in the mail, I cash it within a day or two. I never wait any longer than that.

Im always to lazy to cash my checks in, and always wait until I have a big chunk of em i can cash in at the same time. I´ve been months over the expire date, and still got the money... Never ever have I not got my money cause the check date was long due. I guess it depends what check the company comes from ?

STFU.
When it takes this long with no action on their part and so many phone calls on my end where they say they will, I think its ok to bitch. Yeah I didnt cash the check on time, but thats not a reason to put off paying me again. The reason checks go stale is for accounting purposes not for punishment.

Exactly......
and he has a valid point at that. What if for some reason any of you had a check that you couldnt get to the bank before it expired??...I bet you would want the issurer to reissue you a new check asap and would be a bit upset if all you got was the run around??

OK, now you guys can flame me.
I've called and talked to Reggie Jackson at least 4 times about this issue. CCBill sends me checks all the time and they are always on time without a problem. As I was digging out the old check for the check number I realized it was an Epoch check not a CCBill check. Reggie works for Epoch and once again assures me the check will be written next Friday.
So I just want to apologize to every at CCBill. I got one check this year from Epoch. And I havent looked at it for 3 months, so I was confused about who it was from.

Dirk, I know how it feels when you have to

1. Open mouth
2. extract foot
3. say "i'm sorry"

Nobody's perfect, I would have made sure I knew who the check was from at least before posting

No flames though cuz I've got a pile of IBill checks past their expiry too. It's easy to forget about the little ones.
