Fuck this........... bad situation
About two years ago i got myself into trouble.
My sisters boyfriend beat her up real good on a saturday evening. She went to my house crying, her face was all swollen so i took her to the hospital. The guy i'm talking about is like really tall, 8 years kick-box......... you know, that kind of guy. To be honest, nothing i could even come close to. I was mad, i mean REALLY mad and asked her where he was. He was in a local club around here so i took my car and headed overthere. Just when i arrived i saw him crossing the street. Man, my blood just started to boil and i totally lost control. I stepped on the gass and WHAM....... there he went, on the hood of my car, i took a left turn and he rolled off. He staid down and the ambulance had to pick him up. He was in bad shape, broken bones, head fracture. I spend 2 nights in jail and then was released. Now i'm stuck with a 28k$ law suit. I have done all i can but i got a huge bill to pay........ 28 fucking thousands for a fucking moron who likes to beat up girls. I guess that's it for me, just recieved the call from my lawyer. I did some calculating, i think i might have to sell everything i worked for. What a fucking bad day this is, first paypal gives me a "randomly" picked frozen account and now this........ i'm pretty much fucked. And i mean FUCKED. |

story seems to be kind of bs. Only two days in jail for running someone over and almost killing them? (not that I have a problem with it. I would have done the same, just not gotten caught).
What is the 28k for, a fine?, a lost civil suit?, just the lawyers fees? |

I think you got off lucky.
The guy that did a hit n run on me has already cost me & my insurance company over $50k and I lost the use of my left leg for several months. And he WILL be going to prison because hit n run with injuries is a felony in Nevada. And since he was driving a uhaul truck, I have a nice lawsuit against them and I'm sure they are going to sue him nicely for whatever they have to pay me. I'd hate to be that fucking idiot. This guy must have a terrible lawyer if its only costing you $28k. You're really lucky you didnt leave the scene of the accident.

i don't blame you for running the guy over but I refuse to believe you weren't charged. Unless this is some hick town where they do things different.
either the whole story is BS or you're not telling the whole story. If I ran over Saddam Hussein........um.....well maybe not him.....but if I ran over a pedophile on purpose I am going to get charged - maybe even attempted murder.

As much as I hate saying this, you need to do the "American thing" and sue his ass back. Your sister doesn't have any medical bills from being abused? No emotional distress? She can't press charges for what he did to her?
