HELP - My colors are fucked up in photoshop (new lcd)
Bought a new 17in lcd monitor yesterday and my colors are fucked up.
My white (#FFFFFF) is green in photoshop. How can I fix this? I have the Samsung 172T. P/S The colors are fine outside of photoshop, google is white. |

Do people really try to design on an LCD? I find the colors to be "too intense" on LCD screens. Well, I can't even look at the things for more than an hour anyways...

return the cheapo lcd and get a real one and you wont have these problems.

Mistake #1 = Depending on an LCD for true color... CRT is the way to go for design..
LCDS CAN be good, but only the really really really really expensive ones. |

That was 3 yr ago, the new ones are much better.. you should be able to calibrate it yourself after reading the manual?!
Since it is fucked up in photoshop only, delete your PS prefs and restart the proggie and adjust the color preferences. |

I am on a Mac but you should be able to find your PS prefs and delete them, they get damaged often and after restarting the program go to prefs and check them... open a pic first whith which you are familiar and check the changes/colors. After resetting or changing your default prefs you have to restart photoshop again so it takes effect.
