I've always thought this as well. The whole team sports thing has always sickened me. The group hugs when someone scores a goal, the ass patting, communal showers, the whole "having to come in physical contact with another guy" thing.

I used to go to my cousin's football games a couple of years ago and half the team would walk around in cut off jean shorts and half shirts...LOL it was like a gay rodeo.

I can't really say about that, I myself or never ever seen anything sticking pine cones up someones ass playing football, though its a typical tradition in most high school football to intiate the new people into the team.
