Some things you must figure out for yourself... You're confined to your body -- so you will never FEEL what someone else can know -- so you must figure it out for yourself. <img src="http://www.mrpuzzle.com.au/images/nwbgrubblonde.jpg"> |
Even Einstein said there is something after death.
Most Physicists believe so as well, even Hawking has changed his views about Life and Death and there after. Hawking's old thoughts were that there is no after life, however his thinking changed to a "Yes there is somthing". |

I've made a few posts related to this already, but to reiterate....
I was raised Catholic, didn't even hear of anything called evolution into I was in my teens. My parents weren't religious at all, but my nanny took me to church every sunday. I went to church school... all the boring shit. I don't think any religion on earth is accurate. I don't agree with any of them completely. I don't believe everything in the Bible is accurate, it was written by men and contradicts itself more often than not and can be interpretted millions of ways. I don't believe there is a place called Hell where demons nest and fires burn eternally. I believe the closest thing to hell, is life on earth. I don't believe heaven is a fluffy cloud space with harps and pearly gates. I believe "heaven" is a perfected version of earth and our soul's incarnate to the impefected dimension to further our knowledge. I DO believe that we are all here for a purpose. I believe we were created by God, something that we as humans only using a percentage of our brains, can really understand. I also believe in evolution. So therefore, I believe it's a combination of both. I believe everyone has one soul, but can incarnate as many living bodies as they choose for learning purposes. Life is all about learning and helping others to learn. Even by our own mistakes and tragedies. I believe God gave us free will to choose our own lives and how much we learn from it and those that do not believe in God, never learn the soul's purpose until they do accept it, in one way shape or form. Think about it, if one person had cancer in the whole entire world, no one would really care. If millions of people have died from it and exist with it everyday, we do everything humanly possible to learn about it and how to cure it. We cannot learn in a perfect world, so it has to be filled with things for us to overcome and learn from. I believe God is a spirit, he (and she, yes I believe there's a male and female to the whole "God" concept) has no weight or shape or boundaries and humans do. It's sort of like having an idea, but you can't experience it without building it. So through humans, God experiences imperfections. You know the old cliche, walk a mile in someone else's shoes. I have no proof, if there was proof of afterlife, think of how many people would kill themselves hoping to go back. But if I am going to believe in SOMETHING, while I am here on earth. I am going to believe in this theory, until I am proven wrong. I don't disagree with God or evolution. I just think it's both and it's far more than we as humans can comphrehend so far. Over the ages, humans have become smarter and some say, we are using a higher percentage of our brains. Perhaps ultimately, our goal is to use 100% of them, to perfect our soul. Our bodies are just vehicles that we use to cling to earth with. I think some of us have driven more times than others :winkwink: If I am wrong, when I die... there's not much I can do about it then :1orglaugh But it's fun to think about, while I am alive. It doesn't give me "comfort", because NOT knowing the answer is stressful and agonizing, epsecially in times of grief. So for now, I will believe in what I want, not what religions dictate or what science can only speculate. Prove me wrong and I will accept it... but in the meantime, I'll stick to theories that make the most sense to me :thumbsup |
