Kill Bill was good, very good

Just came back from the movie.

Lots of very graphic violence, some japanese cartoons, refreshing to see a movie that doesn't necessarily follow the standard Hollywood bullshit templates.

Two Thumbs Up For Kill Bill.

Ooohhh good to hear a good review. I was worried it wouldn't live up to the hype or to his previous flicks...

Now I wanna see it!

It was different. Very east-asia oriented. Lots of it plays in Tokto.

Not giving away anything though.

It's definitely worth seeing.

Not much SFX... except a few "really huge jumps". Lots of martial arts (and I'm not a big martial arts movie fan), and it was all pretty well done. There were so many underplayed odd things in the movie that you just can't wait to see part 2 to see what they all mean. Just realize that the movie isn't a "serious" movie, it's just done for the pure fun of the style.

You *know* it's a great movie when the movie ends and the entire audience says "Awwwwww" at the same time because they don't want the ride to stop.

Heard the one matrix like sword fight took 4 weeks to film, Pulp Fiction only took 9 weeks for the whole movie. This should be kick ass. Gonna try and catch it today.

Kill Bill was absolutely fabulous. I love smart, violent films and Tarantino came through on both counts this time. The only thing I would have changed would be more Lucy Liu...the scenes with her were the best (like the one where she's made queen of the yakuzas )
