We proudly use them.

Visa Europe approved them taking over the Globill database and they have strong redundant banking relationships.

One would expect that they are not going anywhere

and for some reason all my online checks with them go through fine. with globill i got like 50% bounces/declines.

they must have good check scrubbing or something.

Can Verotel postback info to your server so you could use them as a processor for an affiliate program?

I use them for my paysite, and they have been great since moving from CCBill. They don't scrub anywhere near as hard as CCbill with no chargeback probs. Highly recommend them.

Spooky

Ive noticed this as well. Rarely does a check ever bounce with Verotel. Hell, I even get some rebills with checks now too.
My favorite thing is the European debit though. Almost all my German members pay this way.

We have been with Verotel since 97 and never really had issues except for the server black outs lately, which is frustrating since most of my German traffic uses them

I love 'em except for the fact that PJ Maka at their risk management dept. is in bed with Steve Easton of APIC.

best of luck to all of you.. you're right there with Verotel next to the CP sites they process for. Visa and M/C won't look the other way forever.

probably, you have to remember people are really fucking stupid. Verotel is often accused of doing business with CP websites yet nobody can ever back their claims up.

Thanks for the link but they are still up and running. I've had them on my ass less than 6 months ago. That thread dates back from 2001 so I guess they found the funds or something?!

That thread was dated 09-09-2003 and posted by a former client of APIC.

I just started using Verotel as a backup processor less than two weeks ago, and so far they've consistently been making me at least 2x as many successful sales as my CCBill account. I cycle 50/50 on my join pages -- 50% of the time the surfer will get my CCBill join page, and 50% of the time they will get my Verotel join page. So both are getting equal exposure.

Are these extra sales a good thing?? Time will tell... if these successful transactions all of a sudden start charging back like wild, then the apparent lack of scrubbing will be worth shit. I'm not saying they don't scrub at all.. because they do. Just not nearly as hard as CCBill -- but that's been mentioned in this thread and time and time again.

Open up an account and give them a whirl... doesn't cost anything

I used to use CCbill and had to move to Verotel as I don't have a US presence. Literally the day I switched over my signups jumped by a large % and I have not had any chargeback issues.

CCbill have the most rediculous scrub rate and I am thankful now not to get those dreaded decline emails...

Spooky

Sensex!!!!!!!!!!!

Thieves get what they deserve. Verotel is a good company that doesn't support thieves.
Niether do any of the other processors.

APIC isn't gone, its just another example of the bullshit you read on GFY.
