Help.. this is driving me insane (XP problems)
One of my puters crashes every 30 min or so.. just out of the blue i get BSODs with errors like IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL .. BAD_POOL_CALLER .. PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON-PAGED_AREA and simillar.. porgrams crash randomly and im loosing a lot of time cuz of this ..
Did anyone have simillar probs and if you did how did you fix them? Any feedback on the matter is more than appreciated. My configuration is AMD XP1700+, 512 MB RAM, K7SEM mobo and SiS onboard GFX and sound cards thnx

Most likely it's a bad memory module, run memtest86(.com). I had the same problem with my Athlon XP 1600+.

Somebody else posted my first choice, bad memory. Also check that it's not running hot, a broken fan could cause the problem as well. Some motherboards come with utilties that show you the temps of the board. Broken motherboard would be third choice.
If it's a hardware problem, linux won't help much.
