Boston Up!! Yankee Fans, Dont Worry!!!

Dont worry yankee fans.

The Bo Sox can be up two games to zero on the yanks and up 9 to zip in game 3 of the 9th and they will still loose the series...

They are a cursed team.

All the home runs, all the hits, all the great pitching wont mean shit.

The Curse of the Big Bambino owns the Sox.

RIP.

I wonder what ever happened to Bill Buckner.
I think he had to leave town and pull his kids out of school.

What? Re read what you just wrote.

A true fan of any sports team just doesn't pick one each year. Yankees fans aren't idiots they are just fans of a team that just so happens to continue winning. They would still be fans even if they didn't win. I realize that pisses a lot of people off. Always hated when your at the top.

Perhaps you are refering to bandwagon fans? Pretty common.

Three baseball fans were on their way to a game when one noticed a
footsticking out of the bushes by the side of the road. They stopped
and discovered a nude female drunk and passed out.

Out of respect for the lady, the Cubs fan took off his cap and placed
it
over her right breast. The Red Sox fan took off his cap and placed
it over her left breast. Following their lead, the Yankee fan took off
his
cap and placed it over her crotch.

The police were called and when the officer arrived, he conducted his
inspection.

First, he lifted up the Cubs cap, replaced it, and wrote down some
notes.
Next, he lifted the Sox cap, replaced it, and wrote down some more
notes.
The officer then lifted the Yankees cap, replaced it, then lifted it
again,

replaced it, lifted it a third time, and replaced it one last time.

The Yankee fan was getting upset and finally asked, "What are you, a
pervert
or something? Why do you keep lifting and looking, lifting and
looking?"

"Well," said the officer, "I am simply surprised. Normally when I look
under
a Yankees hat, I find an asshole."

Oh sorry. I didn't see that in the Sports Fan handbook. You must live within an hour of your teams stadium or you are not a fan.

Ok thanks now I am informed.

yeah really, the only thing worse would be a team named New York that plays in Jersey, or even worse two teams named New York both playing in the same stadium in New Jersey, that would be fucked up if that happened

It is funny you bring up the chant at the Pats party. I was watching the documentary on HBO narrated by Ben Affleck about 'the curse' and they used that rally to show just how bad the hatred of the Yankees is. It is pretty bad that at a rally for the Pats, we all break out into a "Yankees Suck" Mantra.

I will say though, I will be on the first flight off the island into Logan if they win. That will be a month long party that would put all other parties to shame. If you thought North Station stank of piss at the Pats celebration, wait until 10 million people converge onto the common...

Lastly, I was at a local internet casino operation run by a Met's fan... guess what he had on the wall? A picture of Buckner with the ball going thru his legs, and it was autographed and personalized with "Ooops".
I needed psychiatric care, I completely lost it.

I'm headed home in 2 weeks already and am hoping to be at the party

People in Boston are so fucking monkey brained.
I went to a bar last night just to see them screetch and clap their paws at the TV screen...

I love baseball history.
Id actually love to be in Boston this time of year at a Bar or something during this battle. It seems the atmosphere is just Electric in Boston and Chicago! ITs great!

IT would be cool to see the Red Sox win, but a part of me really wants to see them loose.

ITs history man. One of the greatest mystiques of basball history is the curse of the big bambino.

Ya gotta love it. A cursed team! I love it!
