Don't buy the Paris Hilton Video

I send him $100 from PayPal, and he disappeared.

I've dipsuted the charge with PayPal, and will dispute it with my Credit Card, but it was only $100.

Anyways I figured I would save anyone else the credit card chargeback agravation just in case they figured eh whats $100 like me.

I would have put this on the thread but, its an old thread now, and wanted eveyone to see this, incase they were currenlty talking to this guy.

I don't know if ebay changed it since they took paypal over but when I was a heavy seller paypal killed accounts of people that charged back.

I'd get a chargeback on my account, call up and the person there would tell me that they are flagging their account and one more chargeback it's suspended. I asked if my account was flagged and they said no.

Go figure.

In Max's defense, there was another guy in the thread, Justin LA, with 100 posts, who said he ordered it from him and it worked. I don't know if he was in on the scam, or if he had a different experience, or if he was just trying to fuck with people. If he was just fucking around, that's mean.

Max, I think you're overestimating the ease of a chargeback in this situation. Paypal sets its own rules, which are along the lines of "go fuck yourself." Credit card companies tend to side with them...their obligation was to pay Paypal, for Paypal to credit your account, not to to pay some Hilton sex video scammer. They payed Paypal, and Paypal did credit your account. So there's not much to dispute with your credit card company...their transaction went perfectly. It's like if you got a cash advance, got the cash, and spent it on the Brooklyn Bridge, which it turns out was not really for sale. They only care about their transaction, giving you the cash.

my thoughts exactly, whats a hundred dollar chance to get a sweet video, even if theres a slim chance, might as well try, no biggie, and i don't think hes a dumbass for trying to buy the video, if you're curious and its that cheap to find out, fuck, why not?
