There's your answer to the original question; it is God's will that the Godless child be put to the lions as with all who know not Him.

I don't know where you people got this crazy idea that the Judeo-Christian God is a caring and loving god. Here's just some of the evil things your "loving god" has done. They are right from the bible, so they can't possibly be wrong:

Exodus 17:13 With the Lord's approval, Joshua mows down Amalek and his people.

to show that he is Lord;

to show his great power;
to cause his name to be declared throughout the earth;
to give the Israelites something to talk about with their children;
to show that he makes a distinction between Israel and Egypt.

Leviticus 26:29, Deuteronomy 28:53, Jeremiah 19:9, Ezekiel 5:8-10 As a punishment, the Lord will cause people to eat the flesh of their own sons and daughters and fathers and friends.

Numbers 11:33 The Lord smites the people with a great plague.

Numbers 16:27-33 The Lord causes the earth to open and swallow up the men and their households (including wives and children) because the men had been rebellious.

Numbers 16:49 A plague from the Lord kills 14,700 people.

I agree with this. The whole theory was first introduced to me when I was reading Sylvia Browne's books. That is her theory to a T. People might laugh and say the crazy psychic? If I am going to believe in anything, she makes A LOT of sense about the reasons for life and God etc. It's fascinating and logical.

really intresting this..I like to think..why does everything excist...and why did he made skin on our body? because our soul gets out without it? If we begin from that, we can say that without skin we die because we lose all blood. If we start to study death more instead of prevent death we may find out more, maybe not the big thing but is it a point with everthing on earth?..

Interpreting the bible only means you believe it in some way. There for living with the convictions and philosophies that are preached from it.

Accept the damn thing as a religeon or drop it as a good book with nice stories.

These quotes taken from the Old Testament do infact show gOD as a harsh gOD but if you are going to quote the Old Testament, consider the New Testament: The Christian Tradition portrays the son of gOD preaching of a gOD (father-type) who loved and accepted everyone no matter what. Basically a more loving, caring and benevolent gOD. I suppose that my question was geared towards the current idea of who and what gOD is.

The Old Testament is part of the KJV1611 bible, so if there is a Christian God then it must all be true otherwise God would have come down and smote all who spread blasphemy in His name. Christians can't just ignore half of the Bible because it's too difficult to explain the atrocities committed by God. The Christian Bible is the Christian Bible so anyone who doesn't believe the Bible is just a pretend christian.

So the child in the original example/question is doomed to an eternity of wailing and knashing of teeth in hell as it states in the New Testament Matthew 13:42 (".They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."), and John 5:24 ("I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.").

BTW, an aborted fetus (an even better example) is also doomed to eternity in hell according to the bible because he/she had not found God (been "saved") before his/her "murder".

So stop these crazy new age ideas "of who and what gOD is" and get your asses to church you sinning pornographers before it is too late!
