Dude Where's My Country review part 1

Well I just picked this up today and read the first two chapters. I thought the first chapter was particularly interesting. This was the part I thought was going to kill the book because he questions the president about letting the bin Ladens and Saudi royal family leave the country after 9/11. I did not, however know that a few months before the attack, the same bin Ladens had been at Osama's wedding and that he still has $30,000,000 of the family funds. An FBI person he questioned also brings up the point that when they are investigating a murder, they question the suspects family to get some helpful information. They should have at least questioned these people to get some leads towards Osama.

I was also happy with the fact that though it seems like he's making some harsh claims, he makes it clear that it's not meant to be taken as some vast conspiracy. Reading the title of that particular article I thought he was going to try and say "Bush funded 9/11 and has ties to Al-Quaeda. He even let the terrorists get away." What you get out of reading the article is "American money is(indirectly) going to Osama, but not intentionally. The bin Ladens should have been detained here and questioned but purely because they might be able to provide valuable information in aiding the hunt for Osama."

I didn't really like the last of his seven questions, which questions the look on Bush's face when he was informed of the 9/11 attacks. This seemed to challenge Bush's integrity without any real evidence whatsoever, but because he laid off the bullshit in all the serious questions, I guess it's OK to show his opinion. It's better there than among facts where he could have tried to twist them and incriminate certain people.

Anyone else read it? I think no matter what your party it'd be a good read at least for information. It really doesn't attack the right, he even points out Clintons mistakes.
